Artist's Description
I was hiking across a foot bridge in the mountains of North Carolina just after a rain and saw this man fishing upstream and the scene was just so peaceful. The two words that came to mind were “peace” and “solitude”. I took the shot and moved on so as not to intrude upon his privacy. The verse came to me after I downloaded the image and seemed to fit the moment. It looks great on canvas because the texture adds more depth and clarity to the scene.
